18 Jan Enterprise Challenge Project
In December, two groups of Year 9 Business students visited Arsenal Stadium for the first heats of the annual Enterprise Challenge Project. Both groups had to present their projects to a group of Arsenal judges. The brief was to come up with an innovative idea to entertain families at Arsenal before and after a match.
The HGS student’s ideas were fresh and exciting. However, St Mary Magdalene Girls Secondary School, just pipped them to the post on delivery. HGS were extremely proud of the boys’ behaviour and how they presented themselves. These lucky boys also had an opportunity to visit the Directors’ box and the players’ changing room, where they rubbed shoulders with their favourite player’s shirts and took photos. Some even sat in Arsene Wenger’s chair out on the pitch. Although the students did not make it through to the next round, this has given them great experience of how to pitch a business idea.
Dragons’ Den watch out – HGS Entrepreneurs are well within sight!
