28 Sep Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition
On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September seven Year 11 students went on their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition.
Over the course of the weekend they walked a total of 26 kilometres.
The first day was tough as they had to walk through rain the entire day. However they ended the day on a positive note with a barbeque and even made themselves a chocolate fondue with strawberries!
The second day saw much better weather and they were able to complete it with very good navigation skills. The Assessor was very impressed and gave them all a pass, meaning they have now completed their Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award. Some of the girls are hoping to complete their Silver Award this year.
