10 Jul Enrichment Celebration
Year on year the Friday afternoon Enrichment Programme offers a wide choice of activities, that continues to attract more students. The programme consists of both internal and external staff, as well as some sixth form volunteers, who deliver a rich and diverse range of teaching styles to students.
Our Annual Enrichment Day Presentation was held on Friday 10 July 2015, and once again we were entertained by a range of performances from our rising stars, who demonstrated what they had learned in their activities this year. Year 7 students: Ella Man, Lola Priestley and Year 10 student Amber Wilson, delivered first-rate presentations to students, staff, parents, visitors and our special guest, Mr Beezy (Academic Success Motivational Speaker). Students received a range of awards for different commitments such as long service, good progress and punctuality.
Next year’s programme is set out to be bigger and more exciting!
The new Study Centre will be open from Monday 7 September 2015. It will be based in IT4, the BEC and the Library.
Parents are invited to our launch event on Wednesday 2 September 2015, Years 7 to 9 from 5.30pm – 6.15pm and Years 10 to 13 from 6.30pm – 7.15pm.
